📏 Choose cable length – 3.5kW single-phase charger with Israeli plug:
Never extend the charger cable – if the socket is far from the car, choose a charger with a longer cable.
Portable Type 2 EV charger up to 3.5kW with an Israeli plug and a 3.5 m cable. Plug it into a suitable household socket, choose the charging current and connect it to the car – no fixed charging station needed. Ideal for occasional charging – on trips, with family and friends, at holiday rentals and at work – or as a backup charger kept in the car.
Need a longer cable? Never extend the charger cable – choose a version with a longer cable instead (5 m).

⚠️ Safety: no extension cords, splitters or adapters
Plug the charger directly into a dedicated, suitable socket. Extension cords, splitters and adapters of any kind are prohibited by the Israeli Electricity Authority guidelines for EV charging (sections 12(c) and 9(d)), create a serious fire risk, and void the warranty. The charger's protections only monitor a direct connection.
📋 When to use a charger with a household plug? (per Israeli Electricity Authority guidelines)
- Occasional charging – on trips, with family and friends, at a holiday rental or at work, when you are away from your regular parking spot: plug into a sound, earthed household socket and set the charger to 10A at most.
- Daily charging at your regular parking spot at home – the guidelines require a charging station or an industrial socket on a dedicated circuit, installed by a licensed electrician.
- Direct connection only – no extension cord, splitter or adapter.
